Trucha Camp is an innovative learning experience that blends movement, mindset, and meaning. Rooted in the Trucha Camp Method—inspired by the philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori and Paulo Freire—our program integrates growth mindset, culturally relevant teaching, and ethical leadership.
At Trucha Camp, students and educators learn through action, reflection, and community. Guided by the Trucha Code of Ethics—Good, Right, and True—we help participants build character, think critically, and lead with compassion.
Founded by a Fresno Pacific University professor of Kinesiology, Trucha Camp continues the mission of serving the San Joaquin Valley and beyond, fostering inclusion and empowering those often overlooked.
